Have you, as a Muslim, wondered why there are so many sect in Islam ?

Does Allah recognise these sects 'as a mercy' (which is commonly claimed) ?

Quran says :

"As for those who divide their religion and break upinto sects, thou hast no part in them in the least: their affair is with God: He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did." (Quran 6/159)

What is the cause of this sectarianism ?

"Do they not consider the Qur'an ? Had it been from other Than God, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy." (Quran 4/82)

The Quran is perfectly consistent, being from God Himself. Anything else , being from a human source,will have contradictions.
